To improve education and the profession of educators,
the Professional Educators of Tennessee Foundation
supports the following activities:
- Scholarships and
internships

PETF provides funds to high
performing students and teachers to assist them in
continued study in Education and many other areas relating
to research and professional development
- Research

PETF funds studies focused on
improving student learning and professional development.
- Workshops

PETF sponsors workshops
throughout the state to support the professional development
of students and current educators.
- Materials Production

PETF funds the production
of Pamphlets and brochures on "Classroom Methods"
as well as "Teacher's Responsibilities and
Rights".
